Xploring with Sunny D

XPLORING IS BASED ON A VERY SIMPLE PREMISE
If you want to understand how a lion hunts you don’t go to the zoo. You go to the jungle.

Quite frankly there is nothing new about this methodology. It is simply; ‘living in reality’ … not research. Xploring is about getting involved. Make beds, sell hamburgers, plant fields. Since we began Xploring, Saatchi & Saatchi Xplorers from around the world have cooked dinner in China, planted fields in Thailand, been there for breakfast in Vietnam. Washed hair in Japan, hung out in huts with young women in Africa.

We have fixed cars on behalf of Toyota, changed diapers for Pampers, bartended for Guinness, concierged for Peninsula hotels, dished with the girls for Tide. The key to Xploring is that you take the time to feel people’s lives. Most importantly, you get involved.

If you want to understand today’s youth, you don’t ask questions … you play.
If you want to understand the choices Moms make... you make them with her.

Over the next 6 days we will hang out with Mom’s, kids, teachers and nutritionists. What we will walk away with is not research findings, or learnings. We will walk away ‘feeling’ these kids. The choices they make. The frustration their Mom’s feel. We don’t ask questions. We don’t go through a discussion guide; we get involved in their lives, their homes and their families. We walk away understanding what Mom’s, kids, brothers and sisters are feeling.

And when you know how people feel … you fall in love with them as people.

And don’t be afraid to get involved yourself.
